If you like fantasies this is the book for you. This book is about three bears that are separated from their families and have to survive in the wilderness alone. Kallik and Taqqiq are polar bears. They were separated going to land for summer when their mom died. Lusa is a black bear. She lived in a zoo, then escaped and went to find Toklo, a grizzly bear with an attitude. He does not like Lusa in the beginning, but she likes his friend Ujark, another grizzly that can change shapes. At the longest Day Gathering, all five bears meet.
